As sports become famous, popularity among athletes was a big deal. Humans created the different type of sport and there are plenty of them. What we are to talk about today are the famous ones. This includes soccer, basketball, and tennis. As you can see all of them have similarities. They are all considered ball game which uses a ball that serves as an important tool in the game. An athlete is considered a legend in a certain sport if he or she has plenty of achievements, game points, known to be popular and unique. As time progresses; there are now increasing number of legendary athletes.

Let’s take a look first in the game of basketball. It is very obvious that you already know the legend player in basketball. It is no other than Michael Jordan. Michael is born in the US, specifically in Brooklyn New York in February 17, 1963. He is commonly known as MJ with a height of 6’6”. Michael was the fifth son of Mr. James and Mrs. Deloris Jordan. His father was known to be a mechanic and his mother work as a bank teller. The family then moved from New York to North Carolina for some purpose. At a young age Michael was interested in the game of Basketball. During his high school days, he made a try out for the basketball varsity team. After a good performance in college, he decided to join the NBA team which is the Chicago Bulls. After his consecutive achievements in NBA, he decided to retire in the year 1993 to look for a new hobby. He joined the baseball team and played on different competition. Few years later Jordan announced to the media that he will return to NBA. He played several NBA tournaments and still made good achievements. In the year 1999, Jordan finally decided that we will surely retire from playing basketball and will have fewer chances of coming back. After numerous achievements Jordan was then considered as the greatest player of all-time.

Next, let’s hop on to the game of soccer. This sport is popular in several places like in Europe, USA, and in Asia. Like any other sports, this game also has its own legendary player. It is no other than the ever famous David Beckham. David was born in London in the year 1975. He was popular, to the extent that he had an advertisement of numerous products all over the globe. He was the son of Mr. Ted and Mrs. Sandra Beckham. David was sent by his parents to a soccer training school and had a great performance. In fact, he won in a training session in Barcelona. Years later he married a popular singer from the group known as the Spice Girls. For several times Beckham had numerous achievements, which made him more popular. Because of his great performance in the game of soccer he was considered to be a legend player.

Now let’s talk about the game of tennis. This sport becomes popular because of its unique athletes. This game really requires competent skills and power. Tennis is famous in USA since it is where most tournaments are held. It is popularly known in some countries like China, Taiwan, Japan and many more. Many people love this sport because of its player icons. In tennis the legendary player is Pete Sampras. He was born in Washington in the year 1971. He was the son of Sam and Georgia Sampras which are Greek individuals. Pete started to love tennis when he saw a tennis racket inside their basement. At that time, he started using the racket by hitting on tennis balls continuously on the wall. After the family’s passion with tennis, they joined a tennis club together with peter. From there the family played tennis together. Because of Pete’s outstanding performance, he joined a major tournament at the age of 19 and had a great achievement. Because of his achievements, he was considered as the greatest tennis player of all-time.
